On Saturday, 8 October 2011 the AAF will be having a combined training and display at the Canberra Highland Gathering, ACT Pipe Band Championships and Scottish Fair in Kambah.We shall have an area for a display tent and another area for training in. We shall also be doing a small display in the main arena.
We need volunteers for setting up, helping in the display tent and for the fighting display. My hope is to draw on our standard display format for the fighting display. Can I please have someone who knows the speaking part to do the talking. Also if you have got soft kit please wear it. If you do not have any soft kit we may have some spare.
I know it is the Saturday after Beorg-wic, but this is a great opportunity for increasing our exposure in southern Canberra. If you can please help please let contact me at treasurer@aaf.org.au
This will replace the regular Saturday training.
