New Stormcry

Stormcry is getting an overhaul!

We're moving over to using an online service called MailChimp to automate our regular newsletters. MailChimp is a free service that is fully compliant with all international anti-spam laws, and it has a pile of nifty automation. However, in order to be compliant, subscriptions to the list are opt-in only.

THIS MEANS THAT IF YOU WANT TO RECEIVE STORMCRY YOU MUST SUBSCRIBE TO IT, even if you have been receiving it up until now. Fortunately, subscribing is very easy. Go to either the AAF website (http://www.aaf.org.au/) or the Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/AncientArtsFellowship) and click on 'Subscribe to Stormcry'. You will be asked to enter your email address, optionally your first and last name, your membership status (paid member or not) and whether you want HTML (formatted) or plain-text emails.

IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE STORMCRY! Subscriptions to Stormcry are open to both paid members and interested non-members. Please review our Privacy Policy at http://aaf.org.au/privacy-policy. You can safely unsubscribe at any time.

In future, there will be an opt-in on the Membership Application Form.

Stormcry will be sent out on or near the first of each month and will include upcoming events, news, and interesting articles about what the club has been doing.

I'd like to thank Aimee for doing such a good job with Stormcry over the last couple of years. If you would like to have something added to Stormcry, please continue to send email to stormcry@aaf.org.au. Please do your best to let everyone who might not be on this mailing list know about this important update.
