Uppsalan Banquet

It is with great pleasure that Uppsala Medieval Society invite the AAF to our first in a long time end of year Fightday and Banquet. This time, we have secured overnight accommodation on site!

Details

We will fight you at: 12pm 5th of November

We will feed you from: 7pm 5th of November

You can sleep till: 12pm 6th of November

This will cost you: $40 if paid by the 24th Oct. ($50 thereafter )

What we will provide you

• A great location to fight in!
• Several courses of historically themed foods and alcohols
• Traditional Uppsalan entertainments including a bardic comp
• A stable roof to sleep under or firm ground to pitch a tent
• A great night out for a bit of fun

Ingleside Scout Camp, Bloodwood Rd, Ingleside, NSW 2101.

Other bits

• Fighting will be standard Uppsala Fightday rules. We will discuss this on the day before combat starts.
• We need to know if you are staying overnight
• We have a basic (very basic) dress standard of tunic and pants or appropriate dress – further info & pics on our facebook page
• We need to know any funky dietary requirements

Directions to get there

Turn off Mona Vale Road at the bottom of TumbleDown Dick Hill into Tumburra Street

Follow Tumburra all the way to the end and turn left into Bloodwood Road.

Do not use Addison Road as it does not go all the way to the camp.

Mona Vale Rd should be easy to find. Either:

• Turn off the M2 onto Lane Cove Road towards Frenchs Forest (East) and it renames to Mona Vale Rd later
• Turn off the Pacific Highway onto Mona Vale Road towards Frenchs Forest (East)
