Website update: Newsletter! Call for volunteers

I believe I've fixed the problem I was having with the automated newsletter plugin for the new website. Now I'd like to test it. I've set up a basic newsletter, but I'd like to get a group of addresses together to test it with. If you would like to be included in this testing group, please let me know. All that's required is for you to be able to receive a test message occasionally (in practice it'll be like these occasional emails I've been sending to the yahoo group), and report back to me that you've received it successfully. When the site goes live, this testing group will be deleted.

In other news, I've sent a request to my friendly design house to provide a formal quote for doing the graphics for the new site. When they get back to me, I'll arrange for Council to approve it, and the process will begin. I'm not sure how long it will take to get the final skin - probably at least a week - but when the site has been appropriately graphiced up, it will go live.

Then I get to try and work out how to take online payments for membership and Beorg-wic. Yay.
