Information about this website

Welcome!

This website is a dynamic resource for use by the Ancient Arts Fellowship and affiliated or interested parties. All content (except for the Discussion Forums) is moderated by an Editor, appointed by the Council of the AAF.

To contact the Editor, please send email to editor@aaf.org.au

How do I find stuff?

The website is organised by subject. If you click on "What We Do" on the Navigation pane on the left, you will find a list of folders. Under each folder you will find articles, links, pictures and other content.

The site is dynamic, so check back regularly!

The Search function (at top right) is pretty reliable, but the Advanced Search is even better.

Automatic Updates

You can set up an RSS Feed Reader to receive automatic updates when new content is posted to your choice of folders. Full instructions are available here.

Submitting Content

Anyone who registers on the site can submit articles for publishing. Registration is free and requires only a user name, a password and a valid email address.

See here for instructions on how to submit articles or other content to the website.

Important Note: If you have submitted content and you want it to be visible to others, you *must* remember to set the Status to "Submit". Otherwise the Editor will not know it has been uploaded.

Tutorials

The Editor has prepared a number of easy-to-follow tutorials as a guide to using this website. Some of them require Microsoft PowerPoint (version 2003 if you want the funky animations) or a compatible viewer.

There is also a chat room here for real-time questions and answers with the Editor or other knowledgeable members.

Forums

We maintain a set of Discussion Forums, which you can access via the navigation pane on the left. Any registered members may participate in the Discussion Forums.

If you wish to use the Discussion Forums, please read the Forum Rules

Brief note on creating additional accounts.

We also have a YahooGroup that you might be interested in joining.
