Someone, somewhere, probably more than one person, has created a robot that automatically registers to Plone sites and uploads a pile of spam and porn links to the member page.

These are usually easy for me to recognise. I've just gone through the list of members and deleted several hundred of these phony members.

If your account on the site was caught up in the purge, I'm very sorry. Unfortunately I can't just restore your membership - you'll have to re-register.

Hopefully soon this site will be upgraded soon to a newer version of Plone, with moderated membership.

I've also sent out emails to anyone who has more than one account on the site. If you are one of these, please email me back to tell me which account you would like to keep and which I can delete.
