Events

1. Hunters field

Five ABA Animal Targets will be placed in a bush land setting to simulate a "hunt". Groups of four archers will head out at intervals and follow the arrows to the shooting positions. At each target there will be two shooting positions. First Round - Archers will shoot three arrows from each shooting position. When each of the four archers has shot then archers will score on the sheet provided. Second Round - Archers will shoot one arrow from each shooting position. When each of the four archers has shot then archers will score on the sheet provided. May the best archer win!!

2. Water Skin Shoot

During battle water was a scarce commodity. Archers will be divided into two teams. The target will be the modern equivalent of a water skin (3 litre milk bottle). This is a race, each archer will shoot one arrow at a time, the team who empties their enemy’s water “skin” will claim victory.

3. Hunt for the Killer Latex!

Balloon shooting for kids and novice archers.

4. William Tell Shoot

Shoot the apple off little Will’s head.

5. Tombola Shooting Gallery

This is a game of skill, small knock over targets in a 10 yard shooting gallery style set up. Roll up, roll up see how good a shot you are??

6. Archery Kubb

Play the team game of Kubb using a bow and blunts. Can you win the battle??

Arrow Requirements

Archers will need sharp arrows for Events 1 to 4 and Combat Blunts for Events 5 & 6.
