Join the AAF

Are you interested in becoming a paid-up member of the Ancient Arts Fellowship?

Join the AAF

If you would like to become a member of the Ancient Arts Fellowship, there are a few things we would like you to know.

First, we are based in Canberra. All our activities are in or near Canberra. We like having interstate members (and we're quite happy to take your money), but our activities outside of our local area are very limited. Beorg-Wic is the exception - it is a couple of hours drive from Canberra.

Second, before joining we would like you to complete a Membership and Indemnity form. This is a legal requirement. The form must be endorsed by a Council Member. Your membership is considered and accepted at the next monthly Council Meeting. This is a constitutional formality, and not usually something to worry too hard about.

Last, you are required to pay a membership fee, to cover the costs of the organisation. The fee is $25 for the full-time employed, $15 for concession (eg. students).

What are the benefits?

There are several benefits to paying for membership in the Ancient Arts Fellowship. For a start, you get the satisfaction of helping to support the activities of the group.

You also get access to the club's stock of craft and armouring supplies. In certain circumstances you can be provided with materials for free.

You must be a paid member of the AAF to be graded as a fighter.

You are given preferential rates for attendance at Fellowship events, such as Beorg-Wic and feasts.

You will receive a monthly newsletter, Stormcry, which details the activities of the club.

You get access to the Members section of this website.

How do I join?

You will need to download and print the membership and indemnity form (PDF Format).
